‘Everything Under the Sun’ is ON in Orlando

Thursday February 18 Pre-show Seminars 8 a.m. -5 p.m.

Friday February 19 Show Seminars 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Exhibit Hall 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday February 20 Show Seminars 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.. Exhibit Hall 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA) is planning an in-person event for pool and spa professionals to attend the premier event of the swimming pool industry in the southeast, the Everything Under the Sun Expo. The Expo will take place from February 19-20, 2021, in the Orange County Convention Center, West Hall A, in Orlando, Florida.

According to Wendy Parker-Barsell, Executive Director at FSPA, show organizers have implemented stringent policies to help assure attendees and exhibitors of their safety and will be following CDC and government recommendations and guidelines.

Face masks will be required. The seminars will be held at limited capacity because everyone will be sitting 6 feet apart.

Some of the more popular classes will be held more than once to facilitate attendance. Every exhibitor has a corner booth and has 8-foot curtains on the sides for social distancing.

“We are fortunate that we have a very large convention hall so there’s lots of room to be in the hall. We are trying to reduce the density over the course of the day for everybody. Everyone recognizes that it is important to give people space. There is not going to be hugging and shaking hands like we’ve done in past years, but people are excited about coming together and seeing each other,” Parker-Barsell said.

The FSPA Show is an excellent start for increasing your company’s value to your customers. Dozens of continuing education courses are offered. Handson classes are a great opportunity to get information directly from the manufacturers about their products. And as always, new technology and products will be on display.

Festivities begin with the Welcome & Awards Reception, the official opening to the show. On Thursday, February 18, pool pros will be recognized for their outstanding service and accomplishments in 2020. Be sure to RSVP by February 7 to attend for free – the onsite check-in is $20 a person.

The exhibit hall will open Friday morning, at 10:30 a.m. and continue through to 5:00 p.m., and again on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The regular show seminars will be held on Thursday from 8 a.m. — 5 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Orlando Pool & Spa show has negotiated group rates with select hotels to offer attendees and exhibitors a costeffective stay in Orlando.

Participating hotels include The Hilton Recency Orlando at 9901 International Drive and the Rosen Plaza Hotel at 9700 International Drive.

Attendees can register early to secure special room rates.
