Nearly 100 percent of respondents ….

Nearly 100 percent of respondents indicated they employ non-office workers to help service or repair the pools on route. Those companies are comprised of an average of one employee who is almost always paid an hourly wage. Hourly wages averaged $17.50.

For once weekly residential service, respondents from Midwest service companies charged an average of $210, including chemicals.

In this area, the high per visit charge was $300, while the low was $125.

For their commercial accounts, most Midwest respondents billed a twice weekly charge that does not include chemicals.

The twice weekly average was $560, with a high of $800 and a low of $295.
