Survey responses from service firms in the Midwest provided information on over 1,800 swimming pools. These pool maintenance companies have a median account size of 90 swimming pools that are serviced each week. Service firms from this area reported that 50 percent of pool finishes tend to be vinyl lined with about 40 percent of pools made of cementitious material and 10 percent fiberglass.
