Members of the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance can access an additional member perk with PHTA’s Open Forum Digest, an online platform for pool and spa professionals to share ideas and ask questions.
Created in March of this year, the forum is now getting more action than ever. Forum topics have included advice for removing persistent algae, how to find skilled labor, dealing with equipment shortages, business software recommendations, and more. PHTA managers also use it as a place to make pertinent announcements such as upcoming educational webinars and events.
It’s easy to use, and you may be surprised at the immediacy, friendliness, and general helpfulness of the responses you get from your peers.
It is just one feature of myPHTA, PHTA’s new online community where you can build and expand your network. According to PHTA President and CEO Sabeena Hickman, communities are more important than ever in all aspects of our lives.
“Let’s talk about what’s going on in your life, your communities, and the world around us. We’ll celebrate victories and troubleshoot challenges,” Hickman says.
With myPHTA, members can:
• Join the conversation in communities like the Open Forum by replying to a message or starting a new thread.
• Check out the directory and request to connect with other members.
• Add a resource to the online library for other PHTA members to use.
• Learn more about your community members through their profiles and make new connections.
