Friday March 11

Saturday March 12

Seminars 8 – 1:45 p.m., Exhibit Hall 1 – 6 p.m. The Western Pool & Spa Show is returning to the Long Beach Convention Center, March 10-12, 2022.

It is one of the biggest trade shows of the year: attendance generally tops 10,000, making it one of the most well attended pool and spa shows in the country.

But in addition to having a great host city, the Western Show offers among the finest educational conferences in the industry.

According to Stan Basowski, director of seminars for the show, the Western Show offers the industry’s largest seminar schedule with classes for beginners to advanced service professionals. Topics include water chemistry, equipment repair, electronic controls, heaters, business classes, QuickBooks, as well as money management.

There plenty of classes for builders, as well as classes in Spanish.

The exhibit floor is massive and is open only to registered industry members. Valuable door prizes are given away each hour. The show culminates with a new truck giveaway on the final day of the show.

Registration for the show is $85 and provides access to as many seminars as desired, the exhibit floor, and admission into the prize drawings.

The exhibit floor opens on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m.

Educational opportunities abound, beginning on Thursday, from 1 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., continuing Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., and finishing on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1:45. The show plans to offer at least 80 classes, and the full seminar schedule will be available in early December.

Special show discounts are being offered at the Renaissance Hotel Long Beach, telephone 562-437-5900. Be sure to book soon as rooms tend to go fast!
