Silicone Rubber from E-Z Products of Cave Creek, Ariz., a division of R. A. Brooks, Inc., allows all tiles to be reset flush with existing tiles.

Without these properties, it was often difficult to replace or reset aged or damaged tiles so that they blended in smoothly.
