Alan Smith’s pool service appreciation day

Back by popular demand, Alan Smith Pool Plastering welcomes service techs to their 7th Pool Service Appreciation Day, taking place on January 7th from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the company’s business location in Orange, California.

Every year, the staff at Alan Smith Pool Plastering get great references and leads from pool service professional so they like to thank all of the men and women on the service side of the industry with a one-day free event that includes food, drink, networking, and education.

At its heart, The Service Appreciation Day is a day that brings pool plastering contractors and service technicians together to put the two professions in communication with one another. To that end, the day will be full of all sorts of informative lectures and seminars, with plenty of time to socialize.

Doors open at 6:30 a.m. and the day will start with a hearty breakfast followed by hours of informative classes taught by wellknown industry experts.

Rick Specht, with H2O Leak Pros, will teach the basics of leak detection, Hasa’s Terry Arko will teach water chemistry and ways to stretch your chlorine, Brett Gereau, with Advanced Pool Specialists, will teach the saturation index, veteran business owner David Hawes will teach business classes, and Alan Smith himself will teach a class on microglass. There will also be manufacturer-based classes from Pentair and Jandy.

Pool Corp has sponsored tacos for lunch before the afternoon continues with live demonstrations on plastering, hydroblasting, and microglass. — all the new technologies that set Alan Smith Pool Plastering apart from other industry leaders.

There will also be a raffle with valuable prizes, and if you register for the event in December, there’s an extra raffle ticket waiting for you. The events sponsors: Jandy, Pentair, PEP, and Pool Corp were invited to participate will be materially supporting this event.

This one-day free event is intended for the benefit of pool service companies only.
