CAN YOU TOP THIS?
Welcome to the latest edition of our popular “Can You Top This?” column, featuring the newest entry in the Service Industry News “Horror File. ”
This issue’s entry comes to us from Randle Holt of Metro Pool Chemical, in Fort Worth, Texas.
“Service tech from the Dallas/Ft Worth area was doing a weekly service on one of our pools,” writes Randle.
“Next door neighbor was having some fence work done and the old fence was torn down…and we got a good look at this persons pool equipment. Mind you, this is just a small in-ground pool with attached spa and 3 sheer desent water falls, and 1 pool cleaner. Can you imagine having to work on this equipment or trying to replace the main pump?”
Other publications like to print lots of pretty pictures of beautiful pools, spas and well engineered installations.
At Service Industry News, we would rather go behind the scenes and take a closer look at the type of stuff our readers encounter everyday — cracked tiles, tree roots, spaghetti plumbing, rats in the heater, cars in the pool and more!
