The Western Pool & Spa Show is returning to the Long Beach Convention Center, March 28-30, 2024.

It is one of the biggest trade shows of the year: Attendance generally tops 10,000, making it one of the most well-attended pool and spa shows in the country.

Located alongside a picturesque harbor on the beautiful Pacific Ocean, Long Beach, California, is small enough to call your own for any number of days, yet offers the experience, diversity and variety of a much larger city. You won’t want to miss the Long Beach Aquarium, a visit to the historic Queen Mary, or any of the city’s many eclectic restaurants.

But in addition to having a great host city, the Western Show offers one of the finest educational experiences in the industry.

According to Glen Knecht, registration director of the show, “It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in the industry; the Western Pool and Spa Show has something for everyone, and education is one of the main things we try to push.”

There are also plenty of classes for builders, and all three days have classes in Spanish.

The exhibit floor is massive, and it is open only to registered industry members.

Valuable door prizes are given away each hour and the prizes culminate with a $20,000 give-away on the final day of the show.

Registration for the show is $105 and provides access to as many seminars as desired, the exhibit floor, and admission into the prize drawings.

The exhibit floor will open on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, from 2 to 6 p.m., and Saturday, from 1 to 6 p.m.

Educational opportunities abound, beginning on Thursday, from 1 to 5:45 p.m. continuing Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., and finishing on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

The show plans to offer at least 80 classes, and the full seminar schedule will be available in early December.

Special show discounts are being offered at the Renaissance Hotel Long Beach, telephone 800-4683751. Be sure to book soon as rooms tend to go fast.
