The owner of a Louisville, Kentucky-area pool company charged with theft was sentenced to prison time.

On December 30, Tracy Davenport, co-owner of Davenport Extreme Pools and Spas, was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to a slew of charges related to her pool building company.

According to court documents, her business took more than $245,000 from four Clark County victims to build pools that were never constructed. Earlier in the month, Davenport agreed to plead guilty in Clark County, Indiana, to corrupt business influence and theft as part of a plea deal. The plea agreement calls for Davenport to pay restitution to the four families and serve a seven-year sentence with six years in prison followed by one year on probation.

In July, Davenport also pleaded guilty to two counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of property in Bullitt County, Kentucky. As part of that plea deal, she was ordered to pay about $50,000 in restitution to each family involved. There was no jail time associated with this plea agreement.

And in March, Davenport pleaded guilty to theft and corrupt business influence in Floyd County, Indiana. She was sentenced to 730 days in prison in April and was credited with time served in September.

Dozens of customers were affected in Indiana and Kentucky, and Davenport faces numerous lawsuits.

She is currently listed “in custody” at the Michael L. Becher Adult Correctional Complex in Jefferson, Indiana, where she was booked September 4.
