The Independent Pool and Spa Service Association (IPSSA) was recognized at the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) Conference this February for its implementation and support of drowning prevention around swimming pools.
That’s because IPSSA helps its members keep children safe around these pools with a comprehensive water safety ‘Toolkit’ for its members. This toolkit provides a collection of co-branded water safety resources, marketing materials, and tools to support service professionals who want to promote water safety to their clients.
These resources are provided directly to IPSSAmembers, at no charge, for use in their own social media platforms and to help increase the professionalism of every IPSSA member.
IPSSA members clean and maintain thousands of residential swimming pools where children play. They are well positioned to remind clients of the important steps that should be taken to safely enjoy their swimming pool each summer. IPSSA realizes that its members are on the front line with all pool owners and can have a significant and immediate impact on the safety of the pools they service and on the greater community in which they live.
IPSSA is an organization committed to the importance of promoting water safety awareness in our industry. The goal is to heighten awareness in the summer months when so many people are swimming and enjoying water in the summer heat.
