CAN YOU TOP THIS?
Welcome to the latest edition of our popular “Can You Top This?” column, featuring the newest entry in the Service Industry News “Horror File.”
This issue’s entry comes to us from Garrett Hawes of Hercules, California.
“An old woman stepped on gas instead of the brakes. Plowed through fence, only thing that stopped her was the passenger front axle getting caught in the iron gate. If her wheels were pointed straight when she broke the fence, she would have sunk the entire car in the pool. As is, she opened a hole in the oil pan and dumped its contents into the water.”
WOW! How terrible. Wonder what they used to clean the water?
At Service Industry News, we would rather go behind the scenes and take a closer look at the type of stuff our readers encounter everyday — cracked tiles, spaghetti plumbing, rats in heaters, cars in the pool, snakes in the plumbing, and more!
