CAN YOU TOP THIS?

Welcome to the latest edition of our popular “Can You Top This?” column, featuring the newest entry in the Service Industry; News “Horror File. ”

This issue’s entry comes to us from A1 Camarillo of A1 Camarillo’s Pool Service in Folsom, California.

“We received a service call to install a heater,” writes Al.

“The customer told me the wires had caught on fire.

“When I looked at the heater — that incidentally had a large tree near next to it — I could see that he had cleaned out the leaves that were on top of the heater but didn’t check the inside… and so when he turned the heater on, the rats nest that was on the inside caught on fire.

“Luckily he stayed outside long enough to save himself from a catastrophe!”

Thank you for sending this picture to us Al.

And for anyone looking to buy a used heater, this one is probably on sale.

Other publications like to print lots ofpretty pictures of beautifulpools, spas and well engineered installations. At Service Industry News, we would rather go behind the scenes and take a closer look at the type of stuff our readers encounter everyday. cracked tiles, tree roots, spaghetti plumbing, rats in the heater, cars in the pool and more!

When you are out in thefield and you see something that doesn’t look right, send us an email along with a picture and a brief description: Attention Horror File, serviceindustrymewscd@yahoo.com.
