‘Hydralastic 836 SL’ for solvent-free waterproofing

Hydralastic 836 SL, a new offering from W. R. Meadows

® , Inc., of Hampshire, Ill., is a singlecomponent, cold-applied, solvent-free, water-activated waterproofing system that cures to form a tough, flexible membrane for both above-grade and belowgrade applications.

Formulated to self-level on horizontal surfaces, Hydralastic 836 SL applies easily and cures, with the addition of water, in as little as two hours. It can even be recoated the same day for two-coat applications. With these advantages, projects can open more quickly, reducing labor costs.

Hydralastic 836 SL will not crack in extreme cold or flow due to softening at high temperatures. When mixed and applied per manufacturer’s instructions, there is also a decreased probability of blistering due to out-gassing from the concrete.
