The Southwest Pool & Spa Show is planning an in-person show for 2021 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas from February 3-6.
Show organizers are committed to providing a safe event environment this year. Face coverings are required and physical distancing will be in effect in seminars with limited seating arrangements.
Working with partners at the convention center, organizers have implemented an enhanced sanitation regimen with a focus on touch points throughout the facility. Registration is contactless and instead of conference programs, attendees can download the conference mobile app on their phones to plan their time efficiently. Custom Molded Products has donated their Del Disinfector Wands to the show, an ultraviolet light system that will be used to disinfect the registration area and the AV and speaker equipment in the education sessions.
According to Blaine Siske, “putting pandemic guidelines into a trade show where the whole idea is to meet face to face is a little bit of a challenge. But I think we’ve all had enough of Zoom meetings, and we think we have a game plan to make it happen.”

The Southwest Show is focused on education and certification for the Southwest region. New and expanded certification programs and advanced education programs are provided by Genesis 3 design group, PHTAand NPC. These educational programs will provide certification for service technicians or an entire team of professionals in a given field of expertise.
On Friday night, look forward to the Industry Welcome Party and Awards Gala featuring the APSP Region 3 Design Awards. This year’s party will celebrate the best and brightest pool and spa designs from across the Southwest Region and Mexico. The night will be highlighted with the 2021 “Best of Show” Award. Enjoy food, drinks and fun while being inspired by the best designers and builders from across the region.
The party is free with your registration so plan now to be a part of this industry celebration! Bars open at 5:30 on Friday in the Convention Center.
The Southwest Pool & Spa Show features more classes than any industry show in the country, and to top it off, they are all free!
