H2flow’s significant upgrades to FlowVis

®

H2flow Controls, of Sylvania, Ohio, announces the availability of several new FlowVis

® models and significant improvements to certain existing units.

Among these changes to the product line are models for 6- and 8-inch pipe diameters. These new, larger units feature an easy-to-install saddle-clamp design, incredible accuracy, and compatibility with FlowVis Digital.

The redesign of the internal carriage assembly for 3- and 4-inch models is another major improvement, resulting in a more linear flow scale, increased flow range, greater serviceability, and built-in compatibility with FlowVis Digital. Further, a new model has been designed specifically for use in 3-inch, Schedule 40 pipe. New 1.5- and 2-inch models with Union-style valve bodies make installation much easier to existing equipment, where it may be difficult to spread the pipe. Union models also allow for the user to quickly and easily uninstall the FlowVis during periods where freezing conditions may occur.

A new velocity scale for all U.S. models is yet another significant upgrade, with greater emphasis being placed on knowing the velocity of water flowing through a filtration system, and especially suction fittings, a topic of increasing importance for safety advocates and future industry standards.

FlowVis, a top choice for pool professionals everywhere, is the first flow meter to provide dual readings of flow (GPM) and velocity (f/sec).
