Get extra protection with Blue Wave antifreeze

Swimming Pool Antifreeze, from Blue Wave Products, of St. Charles, Ill., is a concentrated product that provides excellent winter protection at a lower price. Just one quart mixed with three quarts of water makes one gallon of antifreeze.

Temperature protection down to -40° F is the recommended option, although adjustable potency for harsh climates is possible. Lower temperature protection can be gained simply by adding less water. A dilution chart is included for making the desired strength.

Nontoxic Swimming Pool Antifreeze, made of 100 percent propylene glycol, is safe for copper, brass and all types of plastic except acetate, and is ideal for keeping all types of pool plumbing safe. Use one gallon for every 10 ft. of 1.5-in. pipe.
