Aquamatic Cover Systems for automated pool covers

HydraLux, from Aquamatic Cover Systems, Inc., of Gilroy, Calif., utilizes a European-style design featuring extruded rigid PVC slats, making automation available to pools that previously could not accept it.

The versatile HydraLux can be cut to any converging shape; water features such as laminars and spa overflows can run while the cover is closed; and multiple covers can be deployed from a hidden recess in the pool floor to allow for complex pool shapes and designs.

Two slat types are offered.

Standard slats are hollow core with three air chambers. When sealed, a ½-inch airspace gives the cover an excellent insulating value. The slats are available in white, tan, light blue and gray. Optional slats with the hollow core are available in green and turquoise; Polycarbonate options are clear and solar, with clear top and black bottom.

A solid foam core option is also available. This slat offers greater insulating value, making it ideal for commercial pools or pools maintained in colder climates. Colors are Blue Sky, Steel Gray, Silex Gray and Cream White.

HydraLux features include Aquamatic hydraulic drive technology, key switch control, a 20-year limited mechanism warranty, a 5-year limited warranty on the hollow core slat and a 6-year limited warranty on the solid core slat.
