IPSSA now offers new affiliate membership

IPSSA, the Independent Pool and Spa Service Association, now offers an Affiliate Membership option at only $14 a month for independent pool and spa professionals who are located more than 100 miles away from an established IPSSA chapter even if they do not have ten people to start a new chapter.

Due to the pandemic, demand for outdoor living products has increased. Thousands of new pools and spas have been installed, and there is an emerging need for professionals to keep them clean and safe.

“Many entrepreneurial people are learning this trade and need the support of a professional community,” says Todd Starner, Director of the Georgia & Florida Region. Affiliate membership will help them obtain the benefits and resources they need to “be successful and to continue to elevate the professionalism of our industry.”

Affiliate Membership offers the advantages of “free education, IPSSA member discounts, insurance, education grants and the professional validation that comes from being an IPSSA member,” explains Rose Smoot, Executive Director. It also provides peer-to-peer networking opportunities and will “expand IPSSA’s reach into growing markets around the country.”
