W.R.Meadowscelebrates 95 years in business

W. R. Meadows, of Hampshire, Ill., announces that 2021 marks their 95th year of continuous business operation. Co-founded in 1926 by W. R. “Bob” Meadows and Edna Meadows, with Asphalt Expansion Joint as the inaugural product, the company has grown to become a designer, manufacturer, and marketer of high-quality building materials for construction professionals.

Over the years, W. R. Meadows has steadily increased their offerings to include a wide variety of expansion joint materials, and an extensive line of other products including concrete construction chemicals and building envelope materials, as well as repair and restoration, and joint sealants, which included a jump into pool deck products.

“It’s hard to believe it has been 95 years since my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother started W. R. Meadows with one product and one location. Today, we have 11 locations and well over 300 products and we have plans to continue to grow. We are grateful for our partners that have helped us reach this milestone,” stated Matthew Price, President.

Dedicated to outstanding products, service and business integrity, W. R. Meadows has remained family-owned and operated. It is now a vast business with products available worldwide through the company’s integral authorized distributor network.
