Need to drain a pool? Try Danner Mfg’s utility pump

The Pool Main Drain Utility Pump, from Danner Manufacturing, Inc., of Islandia, N. Y., is a powerful and durable utility pump designed primarily for draining chlorinated and salt water from in-ground pools.

The slotted “basket” base, measuring less than 5-1/2-inches in diameter, allows the pump to fit inside any standard 8-inch main drain and seal itself several inches below the top surface of the pool’s main drain flange.

With a maximum flow rate of 5373 GPH, the Pool Main Drain Utility Pump can quickly and efficiently remove water from any in-ground swimming pool.

The pump must be run with an automatic shut-off float switch or Danner’s Tethered Float Switch for automatic shut-off.

For more information, contact Danner Mfg., Inc., Dept. SI, 160 Oval Dr., Islandia, N.Y. 11749. Phone 631-234-5261. Online www.dannermfg.com.
