Acme Pool Service 123 Main St. Anywhere, USA 123-456-7890 Dear Valued Customer, June 15, 2022 My goal at Acme Pool Service is to ensure that you have the best pool service available. I am committed to meeting and exceeding your needs, and thanks to great clients like you, I have been able to run a successful business.

Unfortunately, due to the continuously rising cost of chemicals and gas prices, I am forced to raise my monthly service fee. I have incurred a ___% increase to my operating costs and because of that, am increasing my service charge by ___% as of July 1, 2022.

Effective July 1, 2022, your pool cleaning and service bill will be $___ per month – reflecting an increase of $___ per pool cleaning.I have delayed raising my rates for as long as I possibly could, hoping that the effects caused by the pandemic, a national chlorine shortage, gasoline price spike, and inflation would stabilize. I have been absorbing these additional costs until it has become unprofitable to continue to do business at my current rates.

I trust that you will understand the current circumstances, and I look forward to continue serving your needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call or shoot me a text at 123-456-7890.

I thank you for your loyal support. Very Truly Yours, Joe or Jane Doe
