NPC Start-up Technician Certification Class

A new or newly plastered pool requires special start-up procedures to ensure the plaster cures properly.

The Start-up Technician Certification Program is a National Plasterers Council (NPC) initiative to set forth the proper protocol for a pool’s initial start-up. With this program, the NPC has established the industry’s standard for the startup and care of plastered pools across the globe. NPC Certified Technicians have demonstrable industry knowledge and hands-on experience to provide a quality start-up for in-ground swimming pools and spas using the NPC-approved method taught in the Certification Class. The NPC Start-up is currently available as an in person class at the following events.

October 4, Aqua Live February 8, NPC Conference.

February 8-11, Southwest Pool & Spa Show.

January 24 – 26, The Pool and Spa Show.

We also offer this as a 3-hour on demand class, with a test at the end of the presentation.

Cost is $225 for NPC members and $325 for non-members.
