Fire at PA pool supply — No injuries reported

A fire at a Pennsylvania pool supply store required firefighters from six Northampton County departments to extinguish the blaze. The fire took place at Nana’s Oasis Pool Supply in Plainfield Township on the afternoon of October 12.

There was no chlorine or other pool chemicals stored at the location, which was the company’s showroom, and the company continues to operate out of their retail store.

The fire was under control in about 90 minutes. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Department. On their Facebook page, the owners of Nana’s Oasis Pool Supply thanked the Plainfield Township Volunteer Fire Co. from Wind Gap, Pen Argyl, and Upper Nazareth, Forks, and Palmer townships, who they said did an amazing job putting out the blaze.

“We also would like to thank all of our customers who reached out with calls and emails checking on all of our staff. You are all truly wonderful people! We are all safe! No one was hurt,” the company stated.
