Since its inception in 2012, Step Into Swim has provided lessons to more than 330,000 children, helping to promote safety and drowning prevention. “The Rock the Pool Industry Party is a great way to bring the industry together while supporting a really important issue,” said Eric Nielson, Western Show organizer. “Drowning prevention and awareness are vital for our industry and a priority for the Western Show. Every year, so many kids drown or are left in a devastating condition, and it’s so easy to prevent. The cost to teach a child to swim is only $100 — a small investment for a life-changing skill.”
