The Independent Pool and Spa Service Association (IPSSA) was pleased to participate in raising money for the Fire Relief Fund at the Western Pool & Spa Show last month. The IPSSA organization was recognized at the event for donating $10,000 to help fellow pool professionals affected by the recent fires in California.
“IPSSA knows the importance of supporting our fellow service professionals to ensure they get what they need to get through the effects of the California fires,” said Mike Denham, President of IPSSA.
Independent pool and spa service professionals have been confronted with unprecedented obstacles as a result of the recent fires that swept through much of Southern California.
Rose Smoot, Executive Director of IPSSA, said that as an organization, IPSSA focuses on providing the resources and support that fellow service techs need, especially during this unexpected disaster.
“Generously donating to the fire relief fund shows that our members are steadfast in adherence to the pillars of our organization,” Smoot said.
That’s because the Independent Pool and Spa Service Association exists for the mutual professional benefit and growth of its members and for the continued improvement of the pool and spa industry.
