Welcome to the latest edition of our popular “Can You Top This?” column, featuring the newest entry in the Service Industry News “Horror File.”

This issue’s entry comes to us from Jeff Caffery of Caffery Pool Service in Lafayette, Louisiana.

“A blow dryer for your hair dear before you get out? For my first ever Horror File entry, I submit this shocking photo of what I found today. I’ve seen crazy things in my 25 years or so repairing and maintaining pools here in Cajun country, but this in-use power outlet next to the pool water has to be at the top. This pool will be closed to swimming until my electrician fully corrects this horror of a scene.”
