‘Power Defender 140’ VS pump for easy servicing
The Power Defender 140 Variable Speed Pump, from Waterway Plastics, of Oxnard, Calif., is a direct drop-in for other manufacturers’ single, 2-speed or variable-speed pumps. From 115v/240v electric at the flip of a switch, 1.40 HP.
This pump, with built-in and programmable variable-frequency drive that can be rotated 180 degrees for easy servicing, allows up to four scheduled filter settings.
Other features include a proven-performance wet end with a large trap basket and easy-access twopiece lid, silicone carbide seals, a Viton bellow and 316SS casing for protection from bromine, chlorine, hydrogen peroxide and salt.
Two-inch swivel unions are included and the unit works with Waterway Oasis Pool and Spa Control.
